Connection to a Windows Network Share

1. Open up Finder, select Go from the taskbar then select Connect to Server.

2. You must establish a connection with the computer first. Type in "cifs://<fullname>" (type this in without quotes, and fullname = the PC's full computer name. If you do not know the full computer name of the PC, follow the instructions How to Find the Computer's Full Name on the PC.

3. Once Finder establishes a connection to the PC, it'll ask you to enter in credentials that are accepted by the PC.

4. After the credentials are entered, choose the Network folder you'll want to connect to. Once connected, it shows up as a Network Drive in Finder. You can now share files between the PC and MAC.
